Rewarding Compensation and Benefits for Every Surrogate
At Bamboo Surrogacy, we offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for our surrogates. Here’s a breakdown of what we typically offer.
Base Compensation:
Start from $55,000 Base + $10,000 Benefits Package for first-time non-California surrogates.
Start from $60,000 Base + $10,000 Benefits Package for first-time California surrogates.
Start from $85,000 base + $10,000 Benefits Package for repeat surrogates.
Note: These amounts are starting points. If a surrogate requests more, we work closely to find the right match for both the surrogate and the intended parents.
Benefits Package for Surrogates
- Sign-Up Bonus – $1,000
One-time payment. Payable to the surrogate once medical screening is passed, psychological evaluation is cleared, and both intended parents and the surrogate have signed the final contract. - Cycle Preparation Medication Start Fee – $500
One-time payment (total up to $500). Payable when the surrogate begins cycle preparation medication other than birth control pills, prenatal vitamins, and baby aspirin. This will be paid once confirmation is received from the IVF center that medication has begun. - Embryo Transfer Fee (per completed transfer) – $500
One-time payment. Payable within one week of embryo transfer. This fee is intended to reimburse the surrogate for any lost wages and miscellaneous expenses such as childcare, mileage, Parking, etc., incurred at the time of the transfer as a result of bed rest due to embryo transfer. - Pregnancy Confirmation (Fetal Heartbeat) – $1,000
One-time payment. Payable the first week of next month after fetal heartbeat confirmation by an IVF physician. - Maternity Clothing – up to $1,000
Payable on the first day of the month following the 14th week after embryo transfer (16 weeks) of pregnancy. Surrogate will receive an additional $200.00 on the 22nd week after embryo transfer if carrying multiples. - Monthly Expenses Allowance – $200/month, up to $3,000
Payable to the surrogate once medical screening is passed, psychological evaluation is cleared, and both intended parents and the surrogate have signed the final contract. - Housekeeping & Childcare Benefits – Up to $1,000
Actual cost of housekeeping/Childcare does not exceed $100.00 every two weeks and will begin on the first day of the 28th gestational week of pregnancy for a single fetus, or the first day of the 14th gestational week of pregnancy for multiple fetuses, and ending three (3) weeks after delivery of the child. - Pregnancy Wellness Program – $100/month, total up to $1,000Payable monthly to support the surrogate’s pregnancy activities, such as Health & Nutrition Counseling, Acupuncture, Pre-Natal Vitamins, and Pregnancy Massage. It starts the first week of next month after fetal heartbeat confirmation.
- Completion of NT (nuchal translucency) – $500One-time payment. Payable the first week of next month after the surrogate completes the NT scan (around 12 weeks).
- Completion of NIPT – $500One-time payment. Payable the first week of next month after the surrogate completes the NIPT test (around 11 weeks).
