Surrogate Qualifications

For the safety and well-being of both you and the intended parents, there are specific requirements to become an eligible surrogate. Please take a moment to review the following criteria and ensure you meet them before submitting your surrogacy application.
  • Prior pregnancies with no major complications
  • Healthy and responsible lifestyle
  • Non-smoker and non-drug user
  • BMI under 31
  • Good physical and mental health
  • Age between 20-38
  • U.S. citizen or legal resident
  • No more than two c-sections or five deliveries
  • Agree to psychological and drug screenings

At Bamboo Surrogacy, we offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for our surrogates. Here’s a breakdown of what we typically offer.

Base Compensation:

  • Start from $55,000 Base + $10,000 Benefits Package for first-time non-California surrogates.
  • Start from $60,000 Base + $10,000 Benefits Package for first-time California surrogates.
  • Start from $85,000 base + $10,000 Benefits Package for repeat surrogates.

Note: These amounts are starting points. If a surrogate requests more, we work closely to find the right match for both the surrogate and the intended parents.
